Grateful for Provision

I have been watching the 1959 version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" this week in a junior high literature class. I can not imagine living in a room with people I do not know, with very little food and fearing every noise that I hear. What the Jews had to endure at the hand of a tyrant like Hitler is soul-shaking. The Frank's family and the other hide-aways had to depend on someone else for everything. When that someone stopped coming around, they had to just sit and wait to see if anyone would show up with any necessities.
I am so thankful that I serve the God, who is attentive to my needs. He loves me and cares for me. This is evidenced in the fact that he sent his son to die on the cross for my sin and for the sin of the world. He provided me with payment for my sin and provides for me on a daily basis. I am just enjoying living in God's Grace and Provision.
